Pura Bukit Darma

The temple Pura Bukit Dharma is located on top of the hill, Kutri in Hurry village, which is about five hundred meters north of Blahbatu. This temple features a number of sculptures and statues that date back to over 800 years. The most prominent statue is one from the 11th century, of the six-armed goddess Durga. It is believed that Goddess Durga over powered the demon Mahisa, who was hiding in the body of an ox.

Yeh Pulu

A short walk from the ticket office through rice-fields leads to a unique frieze carved into a cliff face. Come back to the 14th or 15th century, the rock carvings of Yeh Pulu make up the longest sequence of relief rock panels in Bali, It is of two metres high and twenty-five metres in length. The relief depicts everyday life in Bali with various figures walking, playing with animals and hunting scenes. Compared to other Balinese carvings, figures of Yeh Pulu are much more natural and vivid.

Kebo Edan

Pura Kebo Edan, or the ‘Temple of the Mad Bull’ constructed in the 14th century is a dramatic four-meter statue of a faceless male dancing figure atop a human body that he is crushing under his foot.  Known as the Giant of Pejeng, it is purportedly meant to be Bima, the hero of the Mahabharata representing a myth related to the Hindu god Shiva.

Samuan Tiga

Pura Samuan Tiga (Temple of the Meeting of the Three) is on a small lane about 200m east of the Bedulu junction. The name is possibly a reference to the Hindu trinity, or it may refer to meetings held here in the early 11th century. Despite these early associations, all the temple buildings have been rebuilt since being destroyed in a 1917 earthquake.

Tibumana Waterfall

Tibumana is one of the closest waterfalls to Ubud and is an impressive place to visit. Set within what felt like a really beautiful cove, and surrounded by flowers and jungle, Tibumana Waterfall disappoint. Also a great spot for swimming, the water is deep enough, and pool big enough for a decent swim. The walk to Tibumana Waterfall from the car park takes around 10 minutes and is through a gorgeous stretch of lush jungle, complete with loads of butterflies.

Coffee Luwak

It is a coffee, cocoa and tea plantation in Ubud – Bali. The island is apparently famous for its excellent coffee especially Coffee Luwak which is mainly produced in the Indonesian Archipelago.This coffee ismade from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by Luwak the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets.
