Kertha gosa

Is an historical landmark in Semarapura, the main town of the Klungkung regency in East Bali. Kerta Gosa forms part of the Puri Semarapura royal palace complex and features two main structures – a grand hall or the namesake Bale Kerta Gosa with ceilings filled with Kamasan or wayang-style paintings, and the Bale Kambang ‘floating hall or pavillion that’s surrounded by a moat. The Kerta Gosa complex dates back to 1686 when it was commissioned by Dewa Agung Jambe, then ruler of the Klungkung kingdom. Kerta Gosa has undergone a series of restorations in the past (the latest was in 2014) and is one of Bali’s most important historical sites. Even though it is a national heritage site, Kerta Gosa is open for the public.
Tibumana Waterfall

Tibumana is one of the closest waterfalls to Ubud and is an impressive place to visit. Set within what felt like a really beautiful cove, and surrounded by flowers and jungle, Tibumana Waterfall disappoint. Also a great spot for swimming, the water is deep enough, and pool big enough for a decent swim. The walk to Tibumana Waterfall from the car park takes around 10 minutes and is through a gorgeous stretch of lush jungle, complete with loads of butterflies.
Goa Lawah

Goa Lawah also known as bat cave temple is very important to the Balinese Hindu community as one of Bali’s key nine directional temples and serves particularly as a guardian against dark spirits from the ocean. Mpu Kuturan who was one of the priests who laid the foundation for Hinduism on Bali founded the temple in the 11th century. The rather large temple complex is built around the entrance to a cave that is home of many, many, many! bats.
Salt maker

Salt farming in Kusamba, Bali is a centuries-old tradition where farmers use traditional technique to produce 100% natural salt by sun and wind evaporation. Located on a volcanic black-sand beach in East Bali, The village earned its reputation as a traditional fishing village and natural salt production in Bali.
Coffee Luwak

It is a coffee, cocoa and tea plantation in Ubud – Bali. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
